The villages & surrounding areas
The traditional alpine village of Méribel, with its 80 years of winter sports experience, is renowned for its elegance and festive atmosphere. The villages of Les Allues, Méribel Centre, Méribel Village and Méribel Mottaret offer breathtaking mountain scenery. The different villages and traditions are reflected in the incredible architecture of the chalets, hotels and apartments.
When you visit the different villages you’ll be transported into a different scenery, explore a little future on snowshoes, for example, and you can admire the Méribel beauty during snowshoe hikes, ski touring or even cross-country skiing. The ski area
Internationally renowned, the resort of Méribel has over 300 slopes. An ideal resort for both beginners and the more experienced skiers or snowboarders. 85% of runs are above 1800m, making it a snow-sure resort too. Being part of the larger 3 Valleys, there are in total 600 km of pistes to explore when you holiday in Méribel. What is great is you can reach the ski slopes of its sister villages very easily too - Courchevel, La Tania, Les Menuires and Val Thorens. From winding tree runs to wide-open slopes, you'll be surprised at the variety this ski area has to offer. Great for couples, families and groups of friends, you'll find something for everyone.
During your holiday, you can join in on top-quality ski or snowboard lessons. We have an excellent selection of children and adult sessions, for all levels. In winter, as in summer, the resort of Méribel offers plenty of activities, for all tastes and all ages. Of course, you can go on a ski holiday, but Méribel is not only about that.
