Méribel is a high-altitude resort which basically means it is snow-sure! The different villages range between 1400 metres to 1750 metres however, the highest skiable peak by cable car reaches 2952 metres at the Mont Vallon.
Méribel can be described as the crown jewel of the 3 Valleys, the world's largest interconnected ski area. With over 600 kilometres of groomed slopes and over 160 ski lifts. You can easily explore the neighbouring resorts of Courchevel and Val Thorens seamlessly!

- The longest slope in Méribel. The red run of the Combe du Vallon is the longest slope in Méribel, covering 3 kilometres in total. Accessible via the Mont Vallons lift, you are taken to the top of the mountain where you can choose to ski down this famous slope… Or you can also choose to head over towards Val Thorens or Les Menuires.
- Golfing. Did you know? During the summer months, the pistes in Méribel turn into an 18-hole mountain golf course! Created in 1966, the Méribel golf course was the first course in France to be over 1500 metres in altitude.
- The Olympic games! In the 1992 Winter Olympics Méribel hosted the women's alpine downhill ski event. You can kind of say it is a #girlpower ski resort!
- A protected picturesque village. Méribel is a ski resort on a mission to preserve its traditional Savoyard features.
