VAL THORENS

Presentation

Located at 2300 metres, Val Thorens is the highest village and ski area in Europe! Apart from the magnificent ski domain, Val Thorens is a very cosmopolitan resort and offers plenty of diverse and fun activities in all forms.

The village

Val Thorens is a single large village at the top of the mountain. It is well known for its lively après-ski scene and variety of accommodation, ranging from basic to luxurious. It's a fully international ski resort catering to everyone too.

The ski area

There are 150 km of slopes in Val Thorens, including 31 ski lifts and 88 slopes. This is another one of the ski resorts that makes up the massive Three Valleys ski area, you can ski 100s of kilometres a day. In fact, there are over 600 km of slopes to explore within the 3 Valleys, including Brides-Les-Bains, Courchevel, Méribel, Les Ménuires, Saint-Martin-de-Belleville and Orelle.
Throughout the Val Thorens ski area, you’ll find fun zones perfect for the freestylers or younger members of the family, such as the snowpark, a ski cross and a fun slope.
If you wish to learn or improve in skiing or snowboarding, then Oxygène Ski School can help by providing group or private lessons for all ages and all levels. At Oxygène, group lessons are limited in numbers helping create a better learning environment and more personalised experience.
