Val Thorens is part of the magnificent 3 Valleys - the biggest ski area in the world. Other ski resorts that make up this legendary ski area are Courchevel, Méribel, Les Ménuires, Saint-Martin-de-Belleville, Brides-les-Bains and Orelle. 

Val Thorens is always the first ski resort to open and the last one to close due to it’s high-altitude (2300 metres). In fact, 99% of the Val Thorens ski slopes are over 2000 metres making it a snow-sure resort! There are over 600km of ski slopes, 6 glaciers and plenty of off-piste to explore.
