The villages
The village of Brévières is ideal for anyone looking for a holiday in an authentic mountain village. Between rivers and forests, at an altitude of 1550 meters, the exceptional and cozy chalets are as beautiful in summer as they are in winter, and the ski area is accessible via a gondola.
Les Boisses, or Tignes 1800, is located between Tignes and Val d’Isère. Tignes 1800 is a perfect compromise between a quaint traditional village and an internationally renowned ski resort.
Le Lavachet is a small paradise for skiers looking for a little bit of calm. With ski-in-ski-out accommodation, you are sure not to lose one minute of your ski or snowboard time on the slopes.

The ski area
Tignes offers a ski area directly linked to that of Val d'Isère. It extends over more than 300 km and culminates in the La Grande Motte glacier at an altitude of 3,656 m. Part of the super-duper Tignes-Val d'isère (previously known as Espace Killy) ski area, its ski area is huge and will keep you busy for many a day.

Excluding the ski slopes, Tignes is also full of lots of fun activities. In winter, take advantage of sledging runs, snowshoe hikes or an introduction to paragliding.
