The Paradiski Ski Area
La PlagnePresentation
There are just over 425 km of magnificent pisted ski runs, all accessible from the multitude of villages spanning across La Plagne, Peisey Vallandry, Les Arcs, Villaroger, Montchavin, Les Coches, Montalbert and Champagny-en-Vanoise (to name just a few).
You can climb to peaks of over 3200 metres while visiting the glacier of La Plagne Bellecôte and that of Les Arcs, the Aiguille Rouge. Don’t forget to stop and take in the views when at the top, it’s impressive…
The Paradiski piste map.
No matter your level, this is a resort for you. Paradiski offers a multitude of slopes for all levels, from beginners to experts, plus several specialised zones for freestylers, sledging and timed slalom runs (264 in total). There are:

Not forgetting the specialised zones: 2 snowparks – 1 boardercross – 3 airbags – 3 sledging runs – 1 waterslide – 1 filmed slalom – 1 chrono-speed timed run – 1 air tubing piste.
There are 130 ski lifts that provide access to all these excellent areas, including the incredible record-breaking Vanoise Express cable car. You’ll find:
- 4 cable cars / téléphériques
- 1 funicular
- 16 gondolas / télécabines
- 58 chairlifts
- 43 ski lifts / drag lifts
- 8 magic carpets
During the winter months, there is a team of night owls driving 55 piste bashers. This team are THE slope specialists taking care to make sure all pistes are immaculate for your next day on the mountains.
In Paradiski, you’ll also find a number of natural 'Natur' slopes. These are 'unbashed' pistes still controlled by mountain professionals. These slopes allow you to discover the wonders of ‘off-piste’ skiing in complete safety.
A few years ago Paradiski won awards for its YUGE application, which you can download on Android and iOS. This App provides all the need-to-know info in one place. You can check real-time lift queues, snow conditions, piste maps, toilet stops, and even link it to your lift pass to see where you have travelled.
On the Les Arcs side, the Aiguille Rouge is one of the longest runs in Europe with a 7 km descent down towards Villaroger and a drop of 2000 metres. A great place to enjoy exceptional panoramas and superb skiing or snowboarding!
